Malton's stock were not only good racehorses, but his family have proved that like begets like, Spray was the dam of Belle of the Isle, (Admiral’s own sister) who added to her hat of victories the Canterbury Cup, and afterwards produced Templeton whose career on the tmf was simply marvellous.
