All officers (including those on the unattached list) of the New Zealand Militia whose names are allowed to be retained in the Army List, must send in a notification to the Officer Commanding the District for transmission to the Under Secretary Defence of their being alive on the Ist January in each year. If such notification is not received by the Ist of April it will be concluded that the officer is deceased and his name will be removed. H. R.
