A Word of Praise.
To the Editor of the Standard. Sib,—Ween a company of performers like the Faust Family, visit Greytown, I think there should be better support accorded them than ia generally the ease. In these country districts we do not get much of a chance to see firstolasa artistes, but when we do get a visit let us patronise them. I can say that the performance given last Saturday night at the Town Hall by the Faust Family has never been excelled in the Wairarapa ; the statuary gronps were worth all the money to witness, while the musical part of the entertainment showed how highly trained were the members of the family. One striking feature of the evening was this-not a word was spoken hy the performers from first to last and yet the audience were kept laughing and applauding nearly the whole time. 1 hope this talented family will be greetel with good houses while in the Wairarapa district. I am, dre, As old Settles.
