Francis York, aged 13 years, was charged on the information of Robert Curtis with maliciously cutting and wounding a_ black retriever dog on February 27, belonging to informant. Constable Ecoleton conducted the prosecution and detailed at length the nature of the long continued annoyances and persecutions the schoolmaster had suffered at the hands of certain of the residents and scholars.
