Local Government.
Since writing the foregoing article we gather from the Dunedin papers that Mr Stoat’s proposal for the aggregation of local bodies means the forma tion of Boards of Works, formed of the chairmen of Ihe local bodies of groups of counties. We shall defer considering the proposal until the full text of Mr Stoat’s remarks has como to hand.
