An item of 6s was among those mentioned in a claim for over £SOO made concerning a house-building contract last Friday in the Supreme Court in Wellington. “Look here,” said Mr Justice Blair, when the item was being discussed by counsel, “if you think I am 1 going to listen to argument and evidence about 6s all day you are mistaken. I won’t do it. Frankly I would sooner pay the money myself. My time is worth considerably more than 6s a day,”
