WHITE HORSE CUP TOURNEY. Waipa representatives defending the White Horse Cup trophy at the Auckland Country Week tournament started off with a good win over Rodney B team on Monday, scoring eight goals to nil, and then rain caused a postponement of play on Tuesday. Yesterday Waipa drew with Whangarei, four goals each (G. Wood and B. Gibson eaeb getting two for Waipa), and then suffered defeat at the hands of the Rodney A team by one goal to nil. Rodney scored their goal shortly after half time, and then withstood determined challenges W Waipa'. Waipa play Piako this morning, and Whakatanft this afternoon.
