A GENEROUS OFFER
Rather at a loss how to express in words his gratitude to Mr G. H. Bennett, the retiring president of the Associated Booksellers of New Zealand, one speaker at a function last week, when a presentation was made to Mr Bennett, had a sudden inspiration. “Why,” he said, “if a telegraph boy burst into the room with a message to inform me that I had won the first prize in Tatt's, I would willingly give Mr Bennett half.”
