For the first time this session. Parliament found it necessary to sit until midnight last night. This is acaccording to a Press telegram this morning, as an indication that late sittings will soon become the rule rather than the exception. The attention of the House was concentrated on two subjects, the Reserve Bank Bill and the trade treaty with Australia. The terms of the new trade treaty were received with the greatest interest, and a stream of questions was immediately directed at.the Minister of Customs, Mr Coates.
