RESULT OF ELECTION. ' Considerable interest was taken in the election held last Friday to fill the vacancies on the Waikato Central Rabbit Board caused by the resignation of Messrs D. W. Ariell and J. W. A. Gosnell. Mr Ariell recontested his seat; and the other candidates were Messrs Thomas A. Hicks (Leamington) and James Rea (Pukeatua). The result of the provisional count is as. follows: — Ariell, Douglas W 189 Rea, James 168 Hicks, Thomas A. - 164 At the individual booths the polling was r's follows: Cambridge: Ariell 95, Rea 76, Hicks 109. Roto-o-rangi: Anell 91 'R'ea 14, Hicks 8. Maungatautan No. 2: Ariell 28, Rea 47, Hicks 19. Miaungatautari Hall: Ariell 45, Rea Si, ftieks 28.
