POSTMASTER IN COURT

ALLEGATION OF THEFT. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) TE KUITI, Friday. A charge of stealing £2O, the property of the Postmaster-General, on May 17, was preferred against Bertie Stephenson Twidle, postmaster at Waitomo, in the Magistrate's Court to-day. He was remanded to appear at Te Kuiti next Tuesday. Bail was allowed in accused's own recognisance of £SO and one surety of £SO.
