APPEAL BOARD CHAIRMAN. (By Teleerat>li. Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Monday. Mr W. G. Riddell, ex-senior stipendiary magistrate at Wellington, has been appointed by the Government to the position of chairman of the Board of Appeal under the Cinematograph Films Act. The position was formerly filled by the late Mr H. M. Gore. In announcing Mr Riddell’s appointment on Saturday, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Hon. A. Hamilton, stated that the Films Appeal Board, which is set up to deal with appeals made by picture proprietore ‘sjoqraoru pub üßumeip u jo pa -isisuQD ‘josuao am jo suoispap uio.ij representing the picture and social welfare interests respective’y. The two lhst-named appointments were held by Mrs Florence Righton and Mrs: Katherine Preston.
