The marriage of a very popullar young Te Awamutu lady, Miss Muriel Josephine (Babs) Walter, only daughter to-f Mr Mrs Arthur Walter, of Te Rahu Road, attracted a great deal of interest last Saturday, and St. John's Church, which had been prettily decorated for thsf occasion with pink roses and apple blossom, was crowded. She was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Iva Gully, counsin of the bride, and Miss Viva Clarke, and three little girls, Jean Hewitt, Molly Greaves, and Rosemary Wioon, all cousins of the bride. Miss Gully wore applet-green organdie, and Miss Clarke lilac organdie, the frocks having plain bodices, full skirts, and hip bows; the two young ladies also wore hats in crinoline to tone, and carried bouquets of shaded pink roses, sweet peas, and asparagus fern. The three little girls wore pale pink, pale blue, and lavender organdie frocks, with tiny bodices, puffed sleeves, long skirts, and poke bonnets, and carried posies of roses and forget-me-nots. Mr S.
