MORE CANDIDATES ANV NOUNCED. (By Telegraph. Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. The United Political Party has chosen Mr Kenneth McLennan to contest the Wellington Suburbs seat, and Mr John Burns, a member of the City Council, to contest Wellington South. AUCKLAND, Wednesday, Mrs C. E. Maguire is being invited to contest the Auckland East seat at the general election in the interests of t the Reform Party. Mr S. W. House, of Mangere, who is seeking selection as Reform candidate for the Hauraki seat at the general election, is the fourth aspirant for the Reform Party's credentials in the new electorate. He is a well-known orin the Mangere district, where' he has resided 30 years. The other, three candidates seeking selection under the Reform banner for Hauraki are:—Mr A. W. Hall, of Papatoetoe; Mr E. L. Walton, Ngatea; and Mr H. C. Bull, of Mangere. AUCKLAND, This Day. Mr F. W. H. Brinsden, a member of the Auckland City Council, told a deputation yesterday that.he would give their request that he contest the Grey Lynn seat "more than ordinary consideration," and announce his decision by Saturday. CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. The Hon. D. Buddo has announced that owing to pressure of business and his own desire to retire from.politics, he will not be a candidate for the Kaiapoi electorate this year.
