THE “ROLL DOWN” GAME
LEGALITY BEING TESTED. ('By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. . A case was heard in the Magistrate's, Court yesterday to test the legality, or otherwise of the “roll down” game. After lengthy evidence, the hearing was adjourned to enable the Magistrate, Mr E. Page, to witness a demonstration of t)he .game between two detectives (novjces) and three players claiming to be skilled. The point at issue is whether the roll down is a game of chance or of skill.
