STOLE FROM HIS BROTHER. (Bv Telegraph. Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. “This young man has never been in trouble before, and his general character has always been good,” said Chief Detective Cummings at the Police Court to-day, about Sydney Albert Cole (19) who had pleaded guilty to stealing £5, the property of J. Westwood Cole, at Whangarei on October 3rd The chief detective added that accused had stolen the money from his brother. Cole was placed on probation for 12 months.
