WHEAT SUPPLIES
(Canterbury and North Otago wheat growers met -at Ashburton on Friday to discuss wheat prices. They called upon the Government to set up a board to fix prices, suggesting that its members should include representatives of the growers, millers, merchants, poultry farmers, and the Government. There was a marked diversity of opinion as to what a fair price should be. A committee to which the whole matter was referred was reported to have reached an agreement satisfactory to all parties, hut no details of it will be announced until after ratification by
