MUIR’S MINES IDLE,

(By Telegraph. Press Association.! AUCKLAND, Friday.

The secretary of the Waihi Miners’ Union received advice from the manager of Muir’s Mines, Te Puke, that the miners had ceased work. There are no further particulars. In connection with the new industrial award the Waihi Miners’ Union and the local mine owners will hold a round table conference at Waihi on Thursday.
