POWER BOARD LOAN

KIO KIO SPECIAL AREA ONLY

CONCERNED,

In connection with the intention of the Te Awamutu Electric Power Board to take a poll of the 50 or so ratepayers in the Kio Kio special rating area on the proposal to raise a loan of £BOOO under the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, to reticulate that area and supply equipment (as set out in the formal notification published in last Thursday’s issue), ratepayers should note that they are automatically debarred from voting if their county rates are not paid at least ten days before the poll. As the poll on the electric power loan proposal takes place at Kio Kio on Tuesday, March 10th the county rates (Otorohanga) must be paid before the end of February.
