At the Supreme ' Court this morning John Edward Jeffreys was sentenced ■to fifteen years’ imprisonment for attempting to murder his wife by pushing her over a cliff at Glentui. Judge Adams said he was satisfied that nrisoner did not act on a sudden or uncontrollable impulse. The whole •of tne circumstances indicated a carefully thought out plan.
