SUDDEN DEATH.
WELL KNOWN" CHRISTCHURCH BOWLER. (B 3 Telegraph. Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. Monday. Mr A. S. Griffith, who was president of the Sydenham Bowling Club last year, died suddenly from heart failure while watching the games at the opening of the season on Saturday afternoon. Mr Griffiths was sitting on the bank at the time. Mr Griffiths, who was a retired painter and paperhanger, was about G 5 years of age, and had been a prominent member of the Sydenham Bowling Club for many years.
