ALL BLACKS' TOUR.
ENGLISH UNION'S REPLY. WELLINGTON, Monday. A cablegram was received at the week end by the New Zealand Rugby Union from London, notifying the English Rugby Union's decision in regard to the terms proposed by the N.jZVR.F.U"., in connection *,with the forthcoming tour of the All Blacks to the United Kingdom. The chairman of the Management Committee (Mr S. S. Dean) deferred making the contents of the English Rugby Union's cablegram public, pending consideration by the committee at a special meeting to be held early in the week. The terms proposed to the English Rugby Union were: Not exceeding 25 matches; 29 players, with manager and assistant manager; tests to be played in the middle of the tour; not more than two matches a week; a week to elapse after arrival before the first match; and the tour to be completed by the end of December, 1924.
