CANTERBURY CLUB’S FINANCES. (Bv Telegraph. Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Canterbury Jockey Club has adopted the report of the programme committee recommending the folloAVing reductions of stakes: Spring meeting £3050, Summer meeting £550, and Autumn meeting £1250, a total of £4850. The total amounts to be distributed during the year are noAv: Grand National meeting £13,000, Spring meeting £21,800, Summer meeting £2350, and Autumn meeting £8350, a total of £45,000. Last year the amount was £50,000.
