HAMILTON STOCK SALE. Tlie Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering Co., Ltd.. Hamilton, report:—At, Hamilton sale on Tuesday the yarding was a small one. Sheep continue to bring good competition, beef also sold readily, while pigs were on a par with recent sales, with perhaps stores bringing slightly better value. Extra heavy prime fat ewes made 335, fat and forward lambs 21s 6d. fat cows £4 16s to £4 19s. killable cows £2 10s to £2 14s, heavy baconers £3 lOs to £3 18s, medium weights £3 5s to £3 10s. heavy porkers to light baconers £2 15s to £3 4s, light to medium porkers £1 15s to £2 12s, slips 14s 6d to 18s 6d. N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. Hamilton, report:—At Frankton yards on Tuesday, 29th inst,. we had a medium entry of cattle and sheep, and quote: Fat cows £4 19s to £5 Is, unfinished steers £5 Is to £5 7s 6d, 4 year old forward bullocks £4 10s to £4 15s, ?>l year old steers in low condition £3 3s to £3 ss, store cows 24s to 255, Shorthorn heifers in calf £4, yearling steers 26s to 31s. fat ewes 33s 9d, store lambs ls 4 Id. There was a smaller entry of pigs than usual. Baconers realised £3 3s to £3 16s, fat porkers £1 19s to £2 10s.
