“ GO STRAIGHT.”
The above picture is to be the attraction at the Empire next Saturday. The dramatic ability of Frank Mayo was never given a greater scope of movement than in this backwoods story, which William Worthington has so ably handled. :He is entirely convincing in the role of Keith Rollins, the young minister, who takes his creed into the little Kentucky settlement of Hampstead. The picture will hold its audience tense until Mayo begins to fight. Then the spectators will swallow their Adam’s apples and hold on to their seats with clenched fingers—such realism and fierceness does the Universal star inject into his ifights. It is not a “ set-up ” fight for Mayo. Universal always puts real hemen against him-men who are willing to go the limit for the sake of motion picture realism.
