PURCHASE OF FARMS.
DEALS NOW BEING EFFECTED,
A Wanganui agent reports that there is a fair number of inquiries for farms in that district indicating that tlm market is brightening. Buyers are inclined to operate more on the basis that will allow them to farm the land with a reasonable margin of profit, and are not so much inclined to offer the high attractive values of the past. In cases where owners are willing to meet them in this respect there is generally a reasonable chance of 'business eventuating. This has been proved by deals recently put through.
