YOUTH KILLED.
ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGE OF PISTOL.

• .GREYMOUTH, Monday. AlexanjW Outram, aged 16, a resident of Blackball, on Saturday went shooting birds, and a cousin named Leitch, of similar age, accompanied him, one having a pistol and the other a pea rifle. Outram shot at a sparrow, but his rifle missed fire. Leitch filtepped forward, but slipped, and, happening to have a finger on the hammer of the pistol it was discharged. The bullet entered Outram's right side, inflicting fatal injuries. At the inquest a verdict was returned of "accidentally killed."
