DEPUTATION TO PREMIER, GOVERNMENT SYMPATHETIC. v v, (By Telegraph, Special to Post.) te WELLINGTON, this daW The Dairy Farmers' Union financial remedy proposals, as published in our last issue, have been submitted to the Prime Minister, who welcomed the delegates and thanked them for bringing the matter • forward. He realised the serious position of a lot of the farmers, and would like to help them. He promised to bring the proposals before his colleagues to see if remedy could be obtained to meet the position, also to send a Governmentdepartment official to Hamilton to investigate.
