MUNICIPAL SEWERAGE.

STEADY PROGRESS MAINTAINED.

PIPE LINE EXTENDED

The progress which has characterised the work of installing the Park section of the municipal sewerage service during the last few weeks is being maintained. As already reported the septic tank is practically finished and the pipe line has reached a considerable ' distance back towards the town. The pipes are laid to the point at which the line diverts into private property to obtain the best gradients. From this point the pipes have been laid for nearly two chains and the trench opened for a further four or five chains.

iSome of the property connections are already being made to the main sewer in readiness.
