The latest annual report on the Prisons of New Zealand states: "The dairy herds at Waikeria and Invereargill both gave fairly good results for the year, the total amount received for butterfat being £IOO6 at former institution and £lOOl at the latter. The Invercargill Borstal Institution also made a commencement with the stock-fattening industry, as shown by the fact that £1740 was received on account of stock sales. Paparua again obtained useful returns from the sale of sheep, lambs, and wool, while the area, planted in wheat also contributed towards the cash receipts for the year." A few shillings spent in the free use of Nazol to protect the nucous membranes of the mouth, nose and throat against Influenza infection is better than hours of suffering. 3N
