Only one tender was received by the Te Awamutu Borough Council for rental of ' the shop in the library buildings. This was considered at last night’s special meeting aud was from Mr G. W. Mail's. who offered £2 per week. A deduction of 15s per week was to be made in consideration of he duties of libarian being undertaken by the applicant, this deduction to regulate according to the number of new subscriberdlto the library. The tender was duly accepted, and the clerk authorised to conclude the arrangement. % •
