In connection with the Art Union at Te Awamutu now being promoted in aid of the Belgian Relief Fund, the Acting Consul for Belgium has donated several pictures. Writing to the promoters from Auckland on the 2nd instant, Mr Robert Burns says : "As promised we are sending you up by rail a few pictures which we trust will be of assistance to you in your Art Union, and I can assure you that the helpful and kindly way in which the people of the Auckland Province have taken up this fund makes it a pleasure to be connected with it."
