Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., reports : PIO PIO SALE. On Thursday, at Pio Pio, we had a good yarding, but bidding throughout was slack. We quote : Two and a half to three year steers £5 19s to £6 10s, two-year steers £4 lis to £5, cows and calves £5 17s 6d, yearling heifers £2 15s, two-year heifers, choice, £4 I2s, yearling steers £2 15s to £3, two-tooth shorn wethers 14s 6d. HAMILTON SALE. A.t Hamilton, on Thursday, we yarded 137 pigs, 1022 sheep' and 498 cattle. There was a good demand for sheep and fat cattle, but store cattle were dull of sale. We quote: Fat shorn wethers 22s 3d to 22s 9d, fat ewes 18s 3d to 18s 66, well-grown shorn hoggets 15s Bd, small 14s to 14s 6d, shorn ewes and lambs 18s to 19s, fat lambs 14s, fat steers £lO to £ll 10s, heavy fat cows £8 is to £8 18s, lighter £6 17s to £7 15s, fresh 3-year steers £7 10s to £8 14s, empty cows £4 to £4 4s, well grown 15-month steers £3 2s 6d to £3 18s, yearling steers £2 15s to £3, yearling heifers £2 5s to £2 its, Holstein bulls 5% to 6%gns. Pigs: Weaners fs to Us, slips 15s to 18s, porkers 30s to 36s 6d, sows £2 2s to £2 7s 6d. TE AWAMUTU SALE. On Saturday, at Te Awamutu, we had a good entry of all classes, but there was little demand for store cattle. Fat cows made from £7 4s to £8 9s, light fat steers' £9 to £ll, fresh-conditioned cows £4 10s to £5 ss, 2-year heifers £3 6s to £3 ios, cows and calves £4 17s 6d to £5 10s, yearling steers £2 171 6d, yearling steers and heifers £2 12s to £2 I3s,fat shorn wethers 2is, fat hoggets 16s to 17s, shorn hoggets 14s ; also, 45 head cattle sold on account of Belgian Relief Fund, and given by Te Awamutu farmers.
