CAFE CHANT ANT.
Arrangements are being actively made by the Puahue bachelors and their supporters for the success of the entertainment which takes place at the Hairini Hall on Friday evening next, and the indications are that this will be the most successful function yet held in that district A very good programme of musical and instrumental items has been arranged. The fancy dress ball which will follow will be a special feature, as many of the costumes and hall decorations are being arranged according to B3lgian custom. Supper will be provided, and having regard to the energy displayed by the promoters and the worthiness of the object in view—the relief.of distress in Belgium—it is safe to predict a record attendance.
