Expeditionary Force
TE AWAMUTU VOLUNTEERS. During the last few days the enrolment of mounted and infantry men at Te Awamutu has been pushedahead. Themounted men have been mobilised by Capt. Bluck (Te Awamutu) and Lieutenant Henderson (Kihikihi), the infantry detachments being organised by Lieutenant Luxford and Sargeant-Major Betteridge. The troops have been going forward daily to connect with the main body at Hamilton. To date the following mounted and infantry men have left this district : “C” Squadron, 4th Mounted Regiment: —Sergt. H. A. Collins, Trooper ..Melville Innes Jones; „ Evan Innes Jones ' „ C. F. Seaward „ W. Briscoe „ N. Ahier „ A. B. Mossman „ F. Hastie „ H. Park •„ W. Budden „ L. Sim „ N. Gibson „ W. Newns „ T. Bond D. McCathie „ W. Johns „ C. Rope „ J. Anderson „ A. Verner . „ H. R. Hogg „ W. McNaught “A” Company (Infantry), 16th Waikato Regiment:— Sergt.-Major Betteridge Private G. Taylor „ T. Sullivan „ F. Bathurst „ E. Eades „ D. Onion „ F. North The enrolments are still being received by the officers previously mentioned, and the men, when examined and passed by the medical inspector, Captain Henderson, are being sent forward daily. ■
