FOOTBALL.
A meeting of the management committee of the Waipa Rugby Union was held in the Cosmopolitan club room on Wednesday evening. Mr H. Worthington presided. The drawing of the first round in connection with the cup fixtures resulted as follows :
May 16 —United v. Cambridge, at Te Awamutu ; Te Awamutu v. Ohaupo, at Ohaupo. May 23 —Cambridge v. Ohaupo, at Cambridge ; United v. Te Awamutu, at Te Awamutu.
May 30 —United v. Ohaupo, at Ohaupo; Te Awamutu v. Cambridge, at Te Awamutu. Owing to the unavoidable absence of several members of the committee it was rlr , r ; ! H to defer discussion of sev<. i .. ters till a future meeting.
