CONCERT AT KIHIKIHI.

(Own Correspondent) A concert was held in the Town Hall on Friday last by members of the Anglican church, the proceeds of Which were devoted towards purchasing a new buggy for the Rev. Clarke. There was a large attendance, despite the bad weather, and the programme was much appreciated, the following items being rendered : —Part I.: Orchestral selection, Bedford's orchestra; song, Mr J. Milroy; song, "Sunny Susquehana," Miss A. Dil j.viohn solo, Mr E. Moeller (encored); "Imitations of a Village Competition," Mr J. H. Luxford (encored); song, "She is Far From the Land," Mr E. Parker (encored); song, "Irish Folk Song," Miss M. Mackenzie (encore); cornet solo, "Lost Chord," Mr W. J. Dil. Part 2: Orchestral selection, Bedford orchestra; song, "I Hear You Calling Me," Mr E. Parker; trumpet solo, "Oubra ma fu," Mr W. J. Dil; musical monologue, "The Man With a Single Hair," Mr J. Luxford ; song, "There's a Land," Miss M. Mackenzie (encore); violin solo,jMr E. Moeller (encore), song, " Peg Away," Mr J. Milroy (encore); song, "In the Cathedral,"- Miss Dil. Supper was served and the hall cleared for dancing. Miss Herlihy and Mr G. Dalton officiated at the piano. The duties of M.C. were carried out by Mr E. Alderson. Constable Wade, who was seriouslv indisposed last week, has recovered sufficiently to be able to resume duty. .
