WELCOME HOME AT PIRONGIA.

As is notified in our advertising columns to-day a public reception will be tendered the Pirongia specials in the Pirongia hall to-night. This reception, which will take the form of a concert and dance, is the outcome of a well attended meeting of residents which was held at Mrs Wickham’s boarding house on Monday evening last. Mr A. W. Jones, who presided, stated that the use of the pall would be granted free of charge. The proposal met with a hearty response and a representative committee, with Mr G. Fin! as secretary,
