TE AWAMUTU POLO CLUB.

A committee meeting of the Te Awamutu Polo Club was held on Saturday evening at Mr S. A. Empson's rooms. There w,ere present: Messrs W. Kay (chairman), F. Taylor, J. Teasdale, H. Kay, Peake, Seaward, Hogg, Collins, Blennerhassett and Empson (secretary). It was arranged that Wednesday, December 10th, be fixed for the opening clay, and that invitations be sent to the Waikato and King Country clubs.

Several new members were elected. After the first practice in February it was decided that the clip teams be chosen. Reference was made to the sudden death of Mr E. I. Miller, and a motion was passed expressing I've club's sympathy with Mrs Miller and family in their bereavement. The motion was passed in silence, the members standing.
