Mr G. Clarke convened a meeting of settlers to have been held at Messrs. Florance and Dunns’, on Tuesday last, for the purpose of discussing a school and post office for the district, but owing to the wet night, the meeting had to be postponed. It is to be hoped that when the meeting is held, the settlers will also discuss the bad state of the roads, and other important matters.
