RANGIAOHIA ROAD BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the above board took place last Saturday. Present: —Messrs C. Cavanagh (chairman), Storev, Long, McGhie and Bowden. OVERHANGING TREES. In reply to the board’s request to remove certain hedges, Mr A. Neilson stated that the hedge was a shade for his stock and also an ornament to the district. The Commissioner of Crown Lands, Auckland, wrote explaining that the question of the removal of trees overshadowing the road adjoining section 223, parish of Puniu, should be referred to the Te Awamutu Town Board, as the land was now under their control. TENDERS. The clerk reported that six tenders had been received for the carting of metal. It was decided that the tender of Messrs Garvey and Hall be accepted. ACCOUNTS. The following accounts were passed for payment: —McCormick £8 6s 6d, Jennings £4 Bs, WAIPA POST £5 ITS 6d, Andrew and Son £2 lOs.
