So much has already been said and heard of the Great jMcEwan, the big novelty attraction to be seen at the Town Hall, Te Awamutu, on Tuesday next, September 30th, that it will doubtless attract the largest audience in the history of local theatricals. The Great McEwen is the world’s foremost magician mind reader and hvpnotist, and will present here the same entertainment as when seen in New York, Chicago, Melbourne, Sydney, Christchurch and Wellington. 'ln several places during his world’s tour, lie has been publicly proclaimed to have been in league with satan, and many and varied are the stories told of this weird Scottish entertainer, and yet nobody would think this were they to see the genial show-man in his everyday movements. The Great McEwen will be assisted by Miss Florance Hartley, a famous American prima donna, Miss Grace Maynard, mentalist; .Mr Cecile Long, A.L.C.M.-L.L.C.M., soloist; and Mr Will Bolton, a champion speciality dancer of more than ordinary ability.
