GOLF CLUB.

Ihe annual meeting of the Te Awamutu Golf Club was held in the public library on Friday last. About a dozen members were present. Mr E. A. Cox was voted to the chair.

Apologies for non-attendance were received from Messrs E. I. Miller, S. A. Empson and others. The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:— President, Mr A. S. Wallace; vice-presidents, Messrs F. McGovern sen., W. Taylor, Edgecumbe, and Dr Henderson ; committee, Messrs Morrison, Cox, Cruickshank, von Sturmer, and Jeffery, the lady members of the club to constitute the ladies' committee ; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr S. A., Empson. It was proposed that the subscription be ios for gentlemen, and 5s for ladies. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr Taylor for the use of his ground as a golf links during the past few years.
