TE AWAMUTU SHOW.
A meeting of farmers and others interested was held in the Cosmopolitan club room yesterday afternoon. There was a good attendance, Mr Hamilton Allen presiding. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
The committee deputed to inspect the Te Awamutu domain reported having gone over this property, and considered it to be suitable for show purposes, and a recommendation was made that the meeting endeavour to arrange with the Town Boardifor the use of these grounds. (The matter was fully considered, and after discussion Messrs Hamilton Allen, Quin, von Stunner, Potts, and Lawson were deputed to wait upon the Board at its next meeting to enlist its sympathy in this proposal.
