WAIPA RUGBY UNION.
A meeting ot the Wai pa Rugby Union took place in th „■Cosmopolitan club room on Situ day evening. Mr H. Wcrlninglon was voted to the chair. Minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Mr J. Edwards reported having interviewed several members of the Ohaupo team, and they had promised to call a meeting to see if sufficient inducement was forthcoming in warranting them in forming a club. The secretary was instructed to write to the Kihikihi and Te Awamutu Clubs requesting them to supply names of all registered players to-their delegates, the latter to be asked to attend the Union meeting on Saturday next. It was resolved that Mr J. Edwards classify the two local teams and submit same to the next meeting of the Union. The secretary and Mr J. Edwards were appointed to endeavour to arrange a match with Frank ton Club.
