MINSTREL, CONCERT, AND COMEDY CLUB.
A meeting of the Te Awamutu Minstrel, Concert, and Comedy Club was held in the commercial room of the Commercial Hotel on Saturday evening. There was a good attendance of members, Mr W. Groves presiding. The resignation of Mr T. Stitt was received. The secretary of the Loyal Te Awamutu Lodge wrote with reference to a hall about to be built, and offering same for practices to the club. Accounts totalling £lO 6s 6d were passed for payment. After, various matters of importance to the club had been considered, the meeting adjourned, a committee meeting being appointed to report to the next meeting.
