A Committee meeting of the Waipa Gun Club was held last night in the Cosmopolitan Club Room, Mr. Vile being in the chair. The minutes of previous meeting read and confirmed. It was decided to ask the following gentlemen to act on the day : Mr Burrows, secretary, Te Aroha Rod and Gun Club, official scorer; Mr Curtis, secretary Auckland Gun Club, referee; Messrs Christian and Vile to see that competitors are on the mark on day of shoot. Messrs Amor and Williams to act as blackboard scorers.
Mr B. C. Wheeler kindly offered the club any timber required on day of shoot, which offer was accepted with thanks. The handicap for the £2O shoot was presented by the secretary, and the chairman moved a hearty vote of thanks to Mr Chavannes of Wanganui for his handicapping. A hearty vote of thanks to the chair brought the meeting to a close.
