KAWA DRAINAGE BOARD.
The regular monthly meeting /of the,above Board was held in the office of the clerk (Mr E. A. Coxjon Saturday, the following members being present;—Messrs Mills (chairman), Teasdale, and Ross. Minutes. The minutes of the previous meeting; were read and confirmed. Correspondence. A letter from the Aka Aka Drainage Board re proposed system of acreage rating was held over till next meeting. Drainage Loan. It was resolved that a petition be prepared for signature with a view to raising a further loan of £ISOO. Drainage Works. The chairman reported that no additional men were available for drainage works. Acconnts. The following accounts were passed for payment:—Preston Chambers £l3 I3s 4d, Waikato Times £1 us 6d, WAIPA POST 17s o.d, South British Insurance Co. £3 ios 2d, Union Assurance Co. £lS4s 6d.
