DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB.
The above club held its usual practice match on the range on Saturday last, when some good markmanship was displayed. The new range is now completed, and next Saturday’s shoot will be held there. This range makes shooting possible up to ioooyds. The following is a list of last* Saturday’s scores: —
At a committee meeting held the same evening, Messrs McInnes and Rule’s account for £lO for the construction of a trench at the new range was passed for payment.
