OTOROHANGA.

A meeting of the Otorohanga Cricket club was held on Monday last, when Mr Miller was voted to the chair. The chief business of the meeting was to make arrangements for a match on Sat--4 urday next, and it was decided that the married members of the club should play the single members at the saleyards paddock, the ground of the club for the coming season, the match to commence at 2 o’clock. I understand a marquee will be erected and tea provided by the wives of the married team, so a. very enjoyable afternoon may be expected. The committee have de- ' cided to obtain a new mat for the pitch, and this will entail a great expense to the cl üb, an endeavour is being made to get in all out- * standing subscriptions by Saturday next.
